Great leaders must have two things:

  • A vision of the world that does not yet exist
  • The ability to communicate that vision clearly

At the end of this module you will have:

  • Explored what we mean by vision and culture
  • Understand the link between vision, culture and strategy
  • Identified the role of leadership in creating, nurturing and driving the vision
  • Recognised the strategies which successful leaders use in terms of creating and maintaining a desired culture

  • Listen to a selection of leaders’ views on vision and evaluate how significant vision has been within their personal leadership journey
  • Apply your knowledge and understanding from Pillar 1 and engage in a series of practical tasks enabling you to reflect upon what factors determine a vision and identify the key factors which you feel will shape and drive your own vision
